A week past a Spook-tacular Halloween
Well I don’t know about you but I can’t believe it has already been a week since all the little ghosts and goblins came a knockin’ at my door! I had every intention of posting all my Halloween details early but time just got away and things got busy. However I still wanted to share this years Halloween look, a little ghoul’s day, boo baskets and everything in between, and hey better late then never!

First up I hosted a little Ghoul’s day get together to catch up, share lots of laughs and of course say cheers with some creepy cute cocktails. Above is the vignette that greeted everyone when they arrived. The little wicker texture ghost was a new addition this year and it was perfect in this spot, some little bats, books and black bows finished off the look. Below you is the little cocktail area for everyone to enjoy a blackcurrant and pomegranate cocktail with or without Boo’s!

On the menu was cauldron veggies, charcuterie with a skeleton brie, sweet and tangy meatballs, boo-chetta, veggie cauldron, snacks, sweets and treats.

As a parting gift for Ghoul’s day I made up little packages with hot cocoa and cozy socks perfect for the cold nights ahead. I loved the tags with the cutest ghost marshmallows they were the finishing touch to this treacherous takeaway.

Speaking of gifts I had to also make up little boo baskets, one for my niece and of course one for our puppy crew to share. They were both so fun to make up and they were a hit all round.

Now onto Halloween night I had to start with a spooky little breakfast of dark rye avocado toast with a ghostly egg on top!

A little wine cracked open by bats to enjoy after all the ghosts and goblins had come and gone, then it was time to sit and relax by the fire while getting cozy in the witchy house that I created this year. Which I of course have to share with you all. I have said it before and I will say it again but fall into winter is my favourite time of year and getting to put up all the décor I have collected and a few new additions there is no better way to kick of the season.

I went light and airy with some spooky sophistication to bring this years vision to life. I wanted to add neutral fall touches, with movement and whimsy making it feel like a windstorm brought a little of the outside in. With fall leaves, blowing book pages, and some black birds too.

I love the leaf garland with the book pages tucked in, and I found this cauldron this year which I overflowed with pumpkins. I knew I need to add those same touches to another little house in the neighbourhood and I’m pretty sure the residents approved!

These terracotta pumpkins and ceramic ghosts along with the many potion bottles you will see often. I have collected them over the years and they are still my favourite items to add in. Whether it is a witchy house, a magical Hogwarts or just a creepy cozy Halloween they fit in perfectly.

Thank you for following along and I hope you enjoyed my better late then never spook-tacular post, I loved setting it up and enjoying it for the weeks leading up to Halloween, which by the way I hope was fabulous for you all!
Till next time …
