The witches went riding & black cats were seen! Hope you had a spook-tacular Halloween!
I hope you all had a fabulous, cute costume & treat filled evening, I couldn’t let Halloween go by without sharing our spooktacular witches house with you all, so thought I would do a little recap of our décor this year!
I wanted to do my spin on a what a witch’s house would be like, from pet crows and mice, to potions and spells, creepy crawlies, and a little magic too!
Most of my décor has been collected over the years and I like to add in antique finds here and there, my collection of books always comes in handy not only at Halloween but year round to layer in. I imagined a witch’s shelves to be cluttered and filled with things she loves and of course ingredients to mix her next potion or spell. I love all the potion bottles I have been collecting year after year, the cute little sisal mice and my little pumpkin boo container is always a favourite!
The floating pages and flying bats gives that spooky magical feel that every witches house should have, her raven keeping watch and some shocked gourds to keep her company! She of course needs the perfect corner to park her favourite mode of transportation and to kick off her boots!
Beware!!! … The witch’s ferocious pet in the next picture may be too scary for some of you!
Did you catch her keeping a watchful eye, hope you won’t have nightmares now tonight {haha!} … Up next we head over to the witch’s desk and her lesson plans for the witch academy, how to cast spells, whip up potions and of course fly a broom!
I just love how this years set up turned out, I am already thinking what I can do next year, another spooky theme maybe like the one from a few years back which you can check out here. Or do we go back to the Harry Potter theme I did here. So many possiblities, be sure to check back next year to see what I come up with! Hope you all had a fabulous Halloween, and now this girls going to start decorating for Christmas! {shhhh …. It’s never too early!}
Till next time …

This is unreal! The attention to detail is next level. I love the little mouse on the bookshelf. I think the kitchen table is my favourite.
For spooky season, you sure made it a beautiful one.
Outstanding!
