Outlander Season Premiere

March 14, 2022

Outlander fans raise your hands! I was so excited that drought-lander was finally over after two years without a new episode and I can’t wait to see what the new season has in store, episode one of this 6th season did not disappoint and left us waiting to see what would come for the Fraser clan. As you get to know me around here, you will see that I love any reason to have a little themed soiree! This Outlander premiere was the perfect excuse to have a couple of friends over, have a little bite and watch the season opener together. I hope even if you aren’t a fan of the show {don’t worry I won’t hold it against you… okay maybe a little!} that you love the final look and come for a little travel back in time with me.

I love to do a little take home gift when we host anything, and with it being just a few of us I chose to order the most recent Outlander Kitchen cookbooks for everyone to take home. All wrapped with brown paper, tied up with string and a little baby’s breath tucked in made for the sweetest little take aways!

I’m lucky that Tommy happens to love scotch and has a “wee dram” from time to time so I used his whisky cask and this little bottle from his collection to add to the table for the over all look.

My inspiration for the entire look was a play on Claire’s kitchen from the Outlander scenes, and I love how the whole table turned out, best part was I had everything you see here. My collection of vintage silver pieces, along with backdrop stands and a backdrop from my photography days were the perfect additions to bring the whole space to life!

For the eats I did a charcuterie board, little sausage roll pastries, a cheesy pull apart bread with a marinara dip {Which I think I will need to do a recipe post on, as it is too good not to share, just look at the picture below … so yummy}and then some lavender shortbread cookies.

I hope you loved my Outlander look, I can’t wait to create another show themed soiree, hint the next one I have in mind though doesn’t happen till November. Let me know if there is a show or movie you think I should create a little premiere for! In the meantime I’m off to get ready to settle in for another night of Outlander episode two here I come!
