Mother’s Day

May 15, 2023

Hope you all had a great weekend and wanting to wish all the different kinds of moms out there a very Happy day after Mother’s Day!

I hosted a ladies lunch for my mom, sister, my niece and myself and with the sun shining we headed out to the patio to enjoy time together, good eats and lots of laughs and I wanted to share a little bit of our day with you! But before that I want to take a moment to thank my mom for always being there for not only myself, but our whole family. She is a constant rock, carries herself with such grace, is selfless beyond measure and loves with her whole heart! She is an amazing lady and I am so thankful that I get to not only call her mom but also my friend. This is one of my favourite photos of my grandma who was equally amazing and the way she raised her family instilled all the best qualities, love and values that my mom shares with us today, and of course that cute little lady she is carrying in the photo is my mom!

Now for the adorable little basket lunches I put together for us all to enjoy!

Everyone had their own little picnic styled lunch with a bottle of homemade raspberry punch, mason jar salad, dressing, a cute little wrapped sandwich, chips, a lemon square, madeleines, sugar pastry cookies and a chocolate bar!

Serioulsy, how cute are they and all the packaging and details matched so perfectly together.

I also came across these super sweet little watering cans at my local dollar store and thought they would make the perfect little planters. A trip to the garden centre, a little potting and a pretty tag and the perfect little gifts were ready for my favourite ladies!

I just love them, the perfect little touch for everyone’s patios this summer, I also had found the prettiest little gratitude cards that were the perfect addition to my mom’s gift.

Well that’s a wrap on Mother’s day 2023, thanks for popping by and checking out my picnic lunch styled celebration, till next time!
