DIY Cherry Blossom Branches
I don’t know about you but I love it when spring rolls around and you come across tree lined streets filled with beautiful Cherry Blossoms! The sad part is their season is so fleeting, one minute they are here and next they are gone, so I thought I would put together some faux cherry blossom branches to enjoy as long as I liked. I know there are branches you can buy all ready to go. I wanted to bring a bit more texture and natural elements, by using real branches and adding the little flowers from the faux bundles. I think the combination turned out really pretty, check out the finished look below!
This little DIY is so simple, all you will need is:
- Branches { I clipped ours off our tree out front }
- 3 stems of faux cherry blossoms { I got them from Micheals but also saw some at the dollar store}
- glue gun
That’s all you need! Cut your branches down to size, then I recommend arranging in a vase so you can place and face the flowers how you want them, then simply glued them in clusters onto your branches. You could make yours as full or as sparse as you like!
All arranged and ready to place flowers
These were the faux flowers I chose and you can see the stems were pretty floppy and I didn’t really love the colour so the real branches were a perfect solution.
I love how these turned out and have been moved to many different spots around our home and have fit in everywhere just perfectly! I hope these inspire you to create something for your home!
