A Harry Potter Halloween
Are you a Potter fan? I wasn’t really into it at first but then with a little coaxing from Tommy it wasn’t long till I was hooked! So, with that being said this year we decided to jump on the Hogwart’s Express and bring a little magic of Harry Potter to our home, I loved creating this whole look and I hope you love it too! PS- Did you see our own little potter keeping a watchful eye on things!
First up we have the owl post, cute little packages wrapped in twine and ribbon, with owl stamps and postage and of course owls everywhere.
I loved the addition of this gold ring with stars which was perfect for a nod to the goals in the game of Quidditch.
Over on the coffee table I wanted to carry on with the owl post theme, I had this cute little office organizer in storage, and it made for the perfect jumping off point to add all the little bits and bobs to bring a little magic to the table!
The adorable sleeping owl was one of my favorite finds, apparently sleeping on the job is okay at owl post!
Next up let’s head to potions class! Potion bottles, spell books and of course a wand.
Finally, in our little kitchen nook I wanted to gather to do an ode to the sorting hat ceremony in the great hall, and the little mandrakes were one of my favorite things to create!
Didn’t the mandrakes turn out great, they were the perfect touch both here and in the potions class.
Of course, we couldn’t finish Halloween off without these four cuties showing up in their house capes. I hope you loved my spin on a Harry Potter themed spooky season! Now what to do next year ?
